Privacy

Sealed is private

Seal means encrypt: your letter is locked on your device before it travels. We never hold a readable copy of your handwriting.

Your letters

Letters are encrypted end to end. They are sealed on your device and opened on your recipient's device. On the way they pass through our servers as ciphertext, and we have no key that would open them.

Your email address

We ask for an email address once, to send you a confirmation code. Once your account is confirmed, that address is deleted from our servers by default — it is not kept, not used for profiles, and not searchable.

If you would like to be told by email that a letter is waiting, you can switch that on yourself during sign-up or later in the app. Only then is an address stored, and you can remove it again at any time.

What we do store

  • Your account and its public key, so letters can be addressed to you.
  • Sealed letters in transit, until they are delivered.
  • The minimum needed to keep the service running and secure.

What we never do

  • We do not show advertising and do not sell or share your data.
  • We do not build profiles and do not track you across other apps or sites.
  • We do not read your letters, because we cannot.

This website

The marketing site itself has no advertising, no analytics trackers, and no third-party widgets. A signed session cookie keeps the page working; we do not use it to profile you.

Age

EnuFumi is for people aged 18 and over.

Your rights

You can ask what is stored about you, correct it, or have your account and its data deleted. Deleting your account removes it from our servers; letters already delivered live on the recipient's device, exactly like paper post.
